At Lamas Western Wear, product safety is important. This Policy explains safety information for our men's apparel products, as well as care, recalls, and product safety communications.

Our garments are designed for everyday wear and should be used only for their intended purpose. Do not modify, alter, or misuse garments in any way that could compromise safety or product integrity.

2. Fabric Safety and Flammability

Certain fabrics used in our garments may be sensitive to heat or open flame. Keep all garments away from open flames, fire, candles, and direct heat sources. Follow care label instructions regarding ironing temperatures and drying methods to prevent fabric damage, scorching, or fire risk.

3. Decorative Elements and Small Parts

Some of our men's apparel styles may feature buttons, zippers, snaps, rivets, buckles, or other decorative hardware. Please be aware that these components may become detached with wear, and exercise appropriate care.

4. Drawstrings, Cords, and Ties

Garments with drawstrings, waist ties, belts, or similar features may present an entanglement risk. Exercise caution when wearing such garments near machinery, escalators, moving equipment, or in any situation where loose elements could become caught.

5. Fit, Sizing, and Tripping Hazards

We offer a range of sizes to accommodate different body types. Please consult our size guide to select the correct size. Longer-length styles such as overcoats, wide-leg trousers, or extended-length garments may pose a tripping hazard, particularly on stairs, escalators, or uneven surfaces. Exercise caution when walking in longer or looser-fitting garments.

6. Allergies and Skin Sensitivity

Some individuals may experience skin sensitivity to certain fabrics, dyes, metal fasteners such as zippers or buttons, or finishes used in our garments. If you have known allergies or skin sensitivities, please review product descriptions and fiber content information carefully before purchase. Discontinue use and consult a medical professional if skin irritation occurs.

7. Product Care

Follow all care instructions provided on the garment label and any accompanying documentation. Improper washing, drying, ironing, or cleaning may cause fabric damage, shrinkage, color bleeding, or damage to decorative elements such as buttons, zippers, or appliqués, potentially compromising the safety and appearance of the garment. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, bleach, or excessive heat unless expressly permitted by the care label.

8. Product Recalls and Safety Notices

If we become aware of a product recall, safety notice, or corrective action affecting a product sold by us, we may contact affected customers using the contact information provided at the time of purchase. We may also provide instructions regarding repair, replacement, refund, disposal, or other corrective action.
